On the set of The King of Queens, Kevin is shown in the photo with a shrug and a small smile. Since then, a number of tweets utilizing the images have flourished on X, formerly known as Twitter. The image was tweeted by users of X along with a humorous remark.

One post that serves as an illustration reads, “When you accidentally like a selfie from 34 weeks ago.”

When someone else used the image, they tweeted,  “My buddy’s buddy who I’ve never met before when I pull my vape out.”

A third person offered their opinion and posted, “How I Look When I Beg My Friends to Take a Picture of Me.”

The image shows Kevin James grinning smugly at the camera while shrugging and placing his hands in his pockets while standing next to a coffee maker wearing a green open-button flannel.

The majority of the viral posts also prominently displayed the gettyimages watermark, which certifies that the image belongs to the CBS Photo Archive. Tony Esparza was the original photographer of the image.

The viral photo was taken on January 1, 1998, on the set of the popular comedy The King of Queens, starring Kevin James as Doug Heffernan, a delivery man, and Leah Remini as his wife Carrie, a legal secretary.

From 1998 through 2007, the program aired for nine seasons, and James received a Primetime Emmy nomination for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series.
