Additionally, her children posted on social media that same day, saying, “It is with heavy heart that we inform you of the death of our incredible mother, Annable Giles.”

She was identified as having stage 4 glioblastoma, a brain tumor that grows most quickly and is extremely aggressive. Annabel had radiation therapy and brain surgery after receiving her diagnosis.

In 1985, the TV host wed Midge Ure, and the two officially separated in 1989. The couple stayed friends even after their split, which at the time was the most talked-about subject.

Through her Instagram account, Molly and Tedd, Annabel’s children, announced their mother’s passing.

“I gave her tens of thousands of pounds in child support and spent thousands more on legal fees fighting for the right to be part of Ted’s life. The real tragedy is that he has lost out on the chance to have a relationship with me, his dad, because of the spiteful actions of his mother.”
