Who is Christian Stracke?
In addition to being the president of PIMCO, Mr. Stracke is a managing director and leads the credit research department globally. His office is in the London location. In his capacity as global head of credit research, he is in charge of the team that covers bank debt, convertibles, investment grade, and high-yield bonds at all levels of the debt capital structure for the targeted industries.

Christian Stracke’s Hometown
Born in Augusta, Georgia, Christian grew up and went to Davidson Fine Arts High School, where his mother worked as a teacher. In high school, Christian also got to know Sutton. He did, however, leave the state to attend the University of Chicago to study political science.

Although Christian and Sutton had been dating since high school, they were not able to tie the knot until May 13, 2000, at the Central Presbyterian Church in New York. While traveling to Florida, Christian gave Sutton a call the day following her birthday, informing her that she should hire legal counsel. Sutton recounted to the women, “He had moved out, so we were separated, but I didn’t think, like, separated forever.”
