Despite having grown up in a Muslim home, Najm has stated that he doesn’t care for religion. He was initially introduced to the music industry when he was three years old, thanks to a family friend who was a gospel jazz performer and producer named Ben Tankard, who let him hang out and “twist the knobs” at his studio. When Najm was ten years old, he used a four-track recorder, a drum machine, and a keyboard to transform his bedroom into a music studio.
