Timpf claimed to have received death threats in November 2015 after making humorous comments regarding the Star Wars fans. She made contributions to the Barstool Sports website in 2016 and 2017.

Every week, she talked to a guest on her podcast, The Kat Timpf Show, about a variety of topics, including her personal life. Together with co-hosts Eric Bolling and Eboni K. Williams, Timpf joined Fox News Channel’s Fox News Specialists afternoon show on May 1, 2017.

On September 8, 2017, Fox News Specialists was terminated following Bolling’s termination by the network due to allegations of s*xual misconduct. National Review withdrew Timpf’s post from the public on December 27, 2018.

According to National Review, the editorial “left out relevant details” of a University of Missouri student Title IX s*xual harassment complaint. According to National Review, a deposition in the case revealed that the alleged harasser “had made repeated, unwelcome advances toward the female student and was found in violation of Title IX for stalking her.”

Timpf’s story implied that a female student had complained about unwanted advances because the accused harasser was more extensive than she was. Together with professional wrestler Tyrus, she co-hosts the weekly Tyrus and Timpf program on Fox News Radio.
