Kari Jobe’s Career

On February 10, 2009, Jobe’s self-titled debut album was released. The album debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard Christian music chart and No. 67 on the Billboard 200. Le Canto is the name of the Spanish-language album that was released.

At the 41st GMA Dove Awards, the album Le Canto took home a Dove Award in the Spanish Album of the Year category. Jobe released three albums before releasing Kari Jobe: Throneroom Worship: Live Acoustic Worship, a compilation album, and Bethlehem, a Christmas album.

“I’m Singing” from her self-titled album debuted on Billboard’s Christian singles chart at No. 13. “Healer,” Jobe’s second song, was released in 2009 and made its debut on Billboard’s Soft A/C chart at No. 33. Her 2009 single “Adore Him” was included in the compilation album Worship and Adore: A Christmas Offering by Integrity Music.

She was nominated for New Artist of the Year and won two Dove Awards for Spanish Language Album and Special Event Album of the Year. Jobe joined EMI CMG Sparrow Records in 2011. On January 24, 2012, Jobe’s second album, Where I Find You, was released.

On the Canadian Albums Chart, the album made its debut at position 75. Additionally, the album debuted on Billboard 200 at Number 10. Later that year, Jobe released The Acoustic Sessions (Live), her debut EP. In 2012, Jobe was nominated for her first Grammy for Best Contemporary Christian Album with Where I Find You.

In May 2013, Jobe, Sheila Walsh, and author Lisa Harper participated in the second season of GSN’s The American Bible Challenge. The A21 Campaign, an anti-trafficking group that seeks to outlaw slavery, was their chosen charity.

Jobe revealed that a live worship CD was being recorded at the Majestic Theater in Dallas, Texas, on November 20 and 21, 2013. The first single, “Forever,” was published on February 18, and Majestic was released on March 25, 2014.

September 25, 2015, saw the release of Majestic Revisited. Songs from Majestic that were rerecorded in a studio and with a different sound are included on the CD.
