Bob Eubanks joined Penetrate School after graduating from Pasadena Secondary School in 1955. During this time, he was determined to pursue a career as a disc jockey in California, and he was successful.
In 1956, he began his most noteworthy radio career with KACY Radio in Oxnard, California. After four years, he was hired by KRLA in Pasadena to host a short-term show before moving up to the long-running 6-9 p.m. evening slot.
During the 1960s, he organized gigs for The Beatles and The Drifters. After moving to Los Angeles, he collaborated with musicians such as Barry Manilow, The Supremes, Cart Parton, Bob Dylan, Elton John, and Merle Ghastly.
Aside from ‘The Love Bird Game’, Eubanks has hosted ‘Rhyme and Reason’ (1975-76), ‘Card Sharks’ (1979-88), ‘Dream House’ (1984), ‘The Jewel Head Game’ (1975), ‘Random Data Trap’ (1984-85), and ‘Powerball: The Game Show’ (2000-02). From 1974 to 1979, he co-hosted ‘The Mike Douglas Show’.
His final network game show was the 1993 daytime series ‘Off the Record Pieces of Information.’ In following years, he was featured as the host or co-host of each of the five ‘Most Silly Game Show Minutes’ specials that aired on NBC.
