The Witch and the Beast Episode 7 Recap
The story keeps going with Guideau facing off against Matt Cugat, who’s known as the Ice Man in the Paladin Corps.
Cugat has icy powers thanks to a deal with a big ice creature, making him a tough match for the witch. Even though Guideau tries, Cugat and his crew capture her and Helga.
Then, Ashaf shows up and says there’s more to the story. He thinks Helga was set up. Flashback time: Helga’s blamed for six murders just because she’s a witch.
But guess what? The real bad guys are the Executioners, who want to get rid of all witches. Turns out, one of them was pretending to be a messenger from the Holy Church.
As everything comes out, an Executioner hits Matt and Ashaf with fire. Plus, we learn that the Demon Sword can control people who stare into its eyes.
Guideau tries to escape with Helga and the sword, but they get caught. Helga asks Guideau to save the sword and her, leaving us hanging at the end of the episode.
