How Her Parents Really Reacted to Her Pregnancy?

Sophia Grace, star of The Ellen DeGeneres Show, told E! News in an exclusive interview that she “couldn’t face” telling her father the news that she was expecting a child.

The YouTube star had to tell her parents the news of her pregnancy before she could post a video message on the subject on October 22.

In an exclusive interview with E! News, Sophia Grace revealed, “The first person that actually knew was my mom.” “My mom’s initial reaction was probably something like, “Oh wow,” but she eventually warmed up to it. It didn’t take long for her to adjust, and from that point on, she seemed genuinely thrilled by the prospect.”

Sophia Grace explained that it can be difficult to break the news to one’s father that she is pregnant since “just in any normal household, it’s sort of hard thing to tell your dad—when you’re a girl—that you’re pregnant,” and that most people would understand the awkwardness involved. It was my mother who broke the news to my father because I simply could not bring myself to break the news to him.

The 19-year-luck old held up when her father expressed “genuine happiness” over the news. Sophia Grace is excited to begin a new phase of her life surrounded by loving relatives.

Since she herself is a young person, she reasoned that he might be thinking, “Maybe you’re a bit young” or something along those lines. “Age isn’t that important. What matters is whether or not you feel prepared, and I believe I am.”

Sophia Grace has revealed that her family has been busy shopping for baby clothes and other gifts ever since she announced her pregnancy.

Gifts are nice, but what really matters is the love and encouragement of family and friends, like Rosie McClelland, 16. Rosie began crying tears of joy when Sophia Grace showed her a sonogram showing she was pregnant.

“It was literally one of the happiest moments of my life,” Sophia Grace said. “She was overjoyed since we have been together our entire lives and have shared in every experience. I’m starting a new chapter in my life, and she’s going to be the most amazing cousin anyone could ask for. That’s why I can’t wait for her to meet the baby.”
