BLACKPINK is reportedly leaving YG Entertainment to help label THE BLACK LABEL, which is a branch of YG Entertainment. KpopHerald says that when BLACKPINK leaves their current management company, YG Entertainment, they will switch to THE BLACK LABEL.
Since it is a branch of YG Entertainment, YG Entertainment controlled more than half of THE BLACK LABEL. An official from YG Entertainment told KpopHerald that they can’t confirm the news, but the BLACKPINK members still have time on their contracts.
“I’m not in the position to confirm the news, but our contracts with the members have not yet ended. It’s hard to confirm whether they will sign with The Black Label or not after their contracts end.” Taeyang had also left YG Entertainment to join THE BLACK LABEL in the past.
