“Kekkai Sense” also known as Blood Blockade Battlefront is a Sci-Fi action Japanese anime television series inspired by the manga series of the same name which is illustrated and written by Yasuhiro Nightow. The series is an anime adaptation which is directed by Rie Matsumoto written by Kazunao Furuya and produced by studio Bones.
The show is licensed by Madman Entertainment, Funimation, Plus Media Networks Asia, and Anime Limited. The animated adaptation of the manga series got confirmed after a long gap of six years in 2015. The first season of the series was premiered on 4th April 2015 and the finale episode telecasted on 3rd October 2015.

So, in the last episode of season 2, the evil Dr. Gamimozu held Michelle as his captive in front of Leo, who is her brother. Thereafter, he understands that he has no additional hope of support or help from Libra. Soon enough, Leo made away from his intellectuality and he decided to waste Gamimozu’s time so that he could have a probability for the entry of Libra and fortunately the troop arrived on time and saved Leo and Michelle from the evil Gamimozu.
Talking about the upcoming season of the series, as we know that the very first season of the series consisted of the initial six volumes of the manga series and the second season was all around the rest four volumes which obviously clearly means that the whole original manga series is already adapted into the anime series.
But since there was a sequel to the manga series too, we are still left with those 8 volumes of that sequel.
