Ghislaine Maxwell’s accuser claims that once Jeffrey Epstein took her to Mar-a-Lago when her age was 14 years old and there she was introduced to Donald Trump.
The purported victim, whilst on cross-examination and who gave testimony under the stage name “Jane,” also recounted traveling with Prince Andrew on one of Epstein’s private planes. Although no inappropriate behavior was reported by her there was neither from the then-president nor from the duke.
Earlier Jane Said She Was Not Forced to Have Sex
Previously, when the defense was questioning, she had mentioned that the late financier never forced her to get into any sexual activity with any of his mates.
On Wednesday, “Jane” took the stand for nearly eight hours, the initial of a total of four supposed victims who will be giving testimony against the British socialite in her sexual misconduct trial.

At times, “Jane”‘s account got dramatic. She wiped her tears hastily once since the prosecutor asked her to explain how she was instructed by the defendant to touch Epstein.
Then, she would burst into tears since she was asked by the government whether it was tough for her to have explained her story when she interacted in private with the prosecutors before the trial.
With the cracked voice she said “Yes, absolutely,” and then a moment was needed for her before she continued to explain how she felt. It was her “deepest secret” that she had “been carrying” with her “for quite a while.”
Attacking Credibility
The morning was spent by the defense doubting the credibility of the statement of witness and attempting to allude to inconstancies in her reports across time of how she met the pair and how the purported sexual events happened.
She was asked by attorney Laura Menninger, “When you spoke to the government in December of 2019, with your lawyers there, and you told the government at that time you were not sure whether Ghislaine ever touched you during these encounters, correct?”.
The witness said while responding “I don’t recall,”
And then the attorney insisted “You told the government that you were not sure if Ghislaine ever kissed you, correct?”
The witness reiterated “I don’t recall,”
Just a day before, “Jane” had validated that she was sexually assaulted by Epstein starting when she was 14 years old and that usually, other women were also involved there, Ghislaine Maxwell being the utmost periodic participator, who would “mainly” touch her “breasts.”

Like a ‘godfather’
The jury, on Wednesday afternoon, concisely listened to Jane’s friend and ex-boyfriend, who also gave testimony within a pseudonym.
“Matt” would explain to the jurors how, during the years that they were dating between 2006 and 2014, she expressed to him that Jeffrey Epstein was like a “godfather” to her. Although, later she confessed to him that “the money wasn’t f— free,” he recounted.
And only when “Jane” was approached by the FBI back in 2009 that “Matt” would gut to ask further and would know that she had been sexually assaulted by the financier.
She expressed to him that at those encounters with Epstein, there was a woman who used to make her feel “comfortable.” Later, the accuser told “Matt,” when he got to know regarding the arrest of Ghislaine Maxwell on the news, who that woman was.

Maxwell, heard the testimonies by the witnesses willingly, sometimes wearing her glasses and taking notes, which would be later passed on to her lawyers. For the first time in the courtroom, her brother Kevin Maxwell was by the side of sister Isabel. In a quick statement to reporters, while he was leaving, he said he was finally “pleased” to see his sister.
He said, “That’s the first time that I’ve spoken to her personally, in over 500 days since her pretrial detention started, and to see her looking pretty well, notwithstanding the conditions of detention.”
