Grinch Hour of Code Game and How to Play Explained: Without at least a couple of Grinch visits, is it December? Maybe not, but locating the mean green grump at any time is not challenging. Dr. Seuss developed the well-known figure, originally appearing in his 1957 book How the Grinch Stole Christmas.
Since then, a few films have brought the tale to life on screen, with actors like Jim Carrey and Benedict Cumberbatch portraying the Grinch. Concerning that, Benedict provided his voice for him in the 2018 Illumination cartoon The Grinch.
Illumination was experienced in giving the author’s work new life because they had already adapted Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax. The Grinch Hour of Code game was one of the methods used to get people to celebrate The Grinch’s release.
Grinch Hour of Code Game and How to Play Explained
A fun and approachable pastime that encourages you to try your hand at computer programming are the Grinch Hour of Code game. The game, which has 20 levels, may be found here. The ultimate goal is to amass all the gifts while honing your coding skills. You can see the sleigh and gifts on the left of the screen.
All you have to do is adhere to the directions. You must align the “Move” block on the workspace with the “When Run” block by dragging it to the proper location. You only need to move the ‘Move’ block one square in the right direction, for instance, if the gift is in the box adjacent to the sleigh. Click “Run” to execute the code after finishing.

It’s Time for Us to Save Christmas
As an illustration, Lesson 1 explains the game. “It’s time for us to save Christmas,” the writing details. “You’ve got to capture all the presents to deliver to Whoville. Let’s use an algorithm to program our Drone to move forward one block to pick up some presents.”

Once you’ve completed Lesson 1, you move on to Lesson 2 which says “Now let’s fly the drone a bit more over to the right to pick up the presents lying around in the snow over there.” You need to drag the “Move” block one more space than in the previous lesson since this demonstrates how another box has moved the gift you need to gather.
