Fire Force Season 3 Release Date

Fire Force Season 3 Release Date is Just Around the Corner!

Anime is doing well now because there are so many interesting and beautifully animated shows in the genre. For example, the movie “Demon Slayer” has already broken some box office records, and “Jujutsu Kaisens”a blend of typical shonen action and the supernatural arguably makes it a must-see series.

Still, we wouldn’t be doing our job if we didn’t mention “Fire Force.” The show’s unique take on a team of firefighters and the idea of spontaneous combustion have helped it gain the popularity it deserves.

The show is based on the manga by the creator of “Soul Eater,” Atsushi Kubo. It is about Shinra Kusakabe, a third-generation pyrokinetic who can shoot fire from his feet. To deal with the Infernals, Shinra teams up with Special Fire Force Company 8, also made up of pyrokinetic. Halflings are those who spontaneously burn and turn into living flames.

Fire Force Season 2 ended in December 2020 and was among the top five anime TV shows on Amazon Prime Japan (via Anime News Network). Fans of the hit show are clearly looking forward to another season, so here’s what we know so far about Fire Force Season 3.

We might have some big updates for you all, check it out:

When Will Fire Force Season 3 Light Up Our Screens?

Fire Force Season 3 was officially renewed on May 16, 2022, by the show’s official Twitter account. We still don’t have a release date or any other news about the production at this point. We didn’t even know for a long time if the anime would be picked up for a third season, so at least we can hold on to our excitement while we wait for Crunchy Roll or Funimation to announce the release date.

With 2022 coming to a close and no news about Season 3, it looks like it will come out in early 2023. If they do what they did with the first two seasons, we might not see any new episodes of “Fire Force” for another six months.

Fire Force Season 3: What Lies Ahead?

Fire Force Season 3

We don’t yet know what will happen in Fire Force Season 3. Since the anime has mostly stuck to the manga, we can probably guess what will happen in Season 3 with Shinra.

Season 1 of the anime covered volumes 1 through some of volume 11, and Season 2 covered volumes 11 through some chapters of volume 20. If the manga is really at the end of its story, Season 3 could adapt up to volume 20. This is assuming that the anime doesn’t go into filler episodes like “Naruto” or “Bleach.”

The end of Season 2 seemed to hint at a bigger battle between Company 8 and the Evangelists in Season 3. Shinra was pushed in his training to reach a new point called “The Press of Death” because the Company’s enemies were getting stronger and more dangerous.

Also, Captain Hague of Company 4 was killed in the season finale, which was a huge blow to the heroes. Shinra is able to set up an Adolla Link, which lets him see Hague’s last moments, because of his new level of skill. Season 3 will probably be about how Company 8 and the Tokyo Empire work together to fight the Evangelist’s strong forces.

Revealing the Characters of Fire Force Season 3

No official cast list for Fire Force Season 3 has been released. Based on how things went behind the scenes during the first two seasons, it’s likely that most of the characters will be back. A few new characters, like Ogun Montgomery (voiced by Makoto Furukawa in Japanese and Zeno Robinson in English) and Scop (voiced by Kentaro Ito in Japanese and Tyler Walker), were the only additions to the cast (English).

Shinra should still be voiced by Gakuto Kajiwara (Japanese) and Derick Snow (English), both of whom have done so in the past (Via Anime News Network). Season 3 should be animated by the same studio, David Production, that did the first two seasons.

Tatsuma Minamikawa took over as director of Fire Force Season 2 after Yuki Yase left. Minamikawa is likely to return as director for season 3, along with Kazuhiro Miwa as a chief animator and Kenichiro Suehiro as a composer, unless something else is said.
