After four years of marriage, Drake Bell’s wife, Janet Von Schmeling, has filed for divorce. Earlier on Thursday, TMZ reported that she had filed for divorce, citing “irreconcilable differences” as the cause for the breakup.
Documents obtained by the media company show that Von Schmeling is petitioning for primary legal and physical custody of their 2-year-old son Wyatt, while Bell is asking only for visiting rights. She is also requesting spousal maintenance.
After the “Drake & Josh” star was photographed smoking balloons in his car in the parking lot of a California vape store while his little son sat in the back seat, sources told us in January that the pair had separated.

He was photographed with his son at Sea World earlier in the day, and he was last spotted there the night before.
