The two artists have worked together twice, most recently here. On the music “Hectic” by RM from his debut solo album, “Indigo,” released in December, Colde had previously appeared. RM has repeatedly praised Colde’s work, giving shoutouts on his social media and listing the singer-songwriter’s tracks as among his favorites. Kim Hee-soo, also known as Colde, is a music producer and businessman who owns three labels: Wavy, Layered Island, and Pyrat.
The 28-year-old artist, who has been a part of the local music team Club Eskimo for a while, has cultivated a broad musical repertoire by working with several well-known musicians, including Baekhyun of Exo, Jeon So-Yeon of (G) I-DLE, R&B vocalist Crush, and Chungha. Although he is a member of the R&B duo Offonfoff, he has recently released solo music.
The EPs “Wave” (2018), “Love Part 1,” and “Idealism” are among his solo albums. RM is one of the illustrious artists on Colde’s upcoming album. On “Heartbreak Club,” singer Chanhyuk of the brother-sister group AKMU makes a guest appearance. Colde and Baekhyun’s pre-released joint single “When Dawn Comes Again,” released in July 2021, is also included. Four additional side tracks, “Island,” “After Everything,” “Settle,” and “Even Though You Said So Easily,” help Colde paint a portrait of sadness.
