After the co-founder of Microsoft rejected to join his charitable endeavor, Jeffrey Epstein allegedly threatened to reveal an affair Bill Gates supposedly had with a Russian bridge player.
The Wall Street Journal reports cited persons familiar with the situation, the accused pedophile, who took his own life in 2019, attempted to threaten Gates over the alleged romance with Russian card-smart Mila Antonova in a 2017 email.
As reported in the newspaper, after she relocated to the Bay Area to work as a software developer, Gates and Antonova participated in a tournament together in 2010.
In a 2010 video on her love of bridge, Antonova acknowledged being friendly with Gates. However, sources informed the Journal that the two had a brief relationship when Gates was still wed to his then-wife, Melinda French Gates.
Epstein later paid for Antonova to attend software coding school after the two connected while Antonova was searching for financial support for a bridge academy.

Journal reported Epstein requested financial compensation from Gates in the 2017 email for the expense of supporting Antonova’s coding education.
The message was sent shortly after the tech giant turned down the convicted s*x offender’s invitation to join his multibillion-dollar organization; insiders told the newspaper.
After Epstein was found guilty in Florida in 2008 of soliciting and procuring a minor for prostitution, Gates, 67, previously acknowledged and expressed sorrow for meeting with Epstein numerous times in the 2010s to obtain money for the Gates Foundation.

The spokesperson claims Gates never followed through on the threat and had “no financial dealings” with Epstein. When they first met, Antonova claimed to the Journal that she had no idea who Epstein was and had assumed that he was simply a “successful businessman who wanted to help.”
Antonova stated, “I am disgusted with Epstein and what he did,” neglecting to address her purported friendship with Gates. After losing to Gates in their tournament match, the business magnate won; Antonova was motivated to launch her own company, teaching others how to play the game she adored.
According to sources, Boris Nikolic, Gates’ principal advisor at the time, introduced Antonova to Epstein, a prominent financier who agreed to see her in his Manhattan home in 2013.
The lady urged Melinda to read her letter, which revealed the affair and sought changes to her Microsoft employment in the email. While calls for Gates to resign mounted in response to the email, the business magnate was still re-elected to Microsoft’s board before he resigned in 2020.
Following many rumors that Gates awkwardly asked out various women who worked for him at Microsoft and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, news of the romance emerged.
