Zombie 100 Anime Plot
We have an intriguing premise: Akira (Shuichiro Umeda) views the transformation of civilization into flesh-eating monsters as a breath of fresh air rather than merely attempting to survive or make the best of the end of the world. Seeing a chance that he can’t afford to miss is a change from the routine and boring of his office job. Of course, his casual response can be a sign of his true feelings.
A quick look at Akira’s home life is given in the show’s trailer, and it is not a particularly appealing one: his bed is surrounded by a dismal nest of folded trash, food remnants, countless numbers of bottles, strewn clothing, and the pale illumination of a television.
His earbuds only partially block out a quick sight of an office altercation in which a coworker is being shouted down by someone who appears to be Akira’s supervisor. Akira is probably depressed, which is shown in a number of different ways through his visuals.
The trailer also heavily uses color filters, whether that will be represented in the show or not. When he initially arrives at his office job, everyone’s happy smiles are completely colored.
However, the previously mentioned scenario and the beginning of the apocalypse are both filtered harshly in black and white, with only the blood gushing from Akira’s temple retaining its distinctive crimson hue. However, color abruptly returns to the world not long after Akira realizes that the world is now his oyster.
Where Can I Watch ZOM 100
Both Netflix and Hulu will have ZOM 100: Bucket List of the Dead available for streaming. The first episode of the series will run in its original Japanese version on July 9 and in its English adaptation on August 6.
