The Walking Dead Daryl Dixon & Dead City Season 2
At San Diego Comic-Con on Friday, AMC announced a number of Walking Dead-related things. The previously unnamed spinoff starring Danai Gurira and Andrew Lincoln will be referred to as The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live.

Dead City and Daryl Dixon, two Walking Dead spinoffs, received Season 2 renewals from AMC. Dead City’s first season ends on Sunday, and Daryl Dixon will debut on September 10.
There will be no writing work on either season until the Writers Guild of America strike ends. After contract discussions with the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers stalled, writers went on strike on May 1.

Due to the Screen Actors Guild strike, the casts of the series were unable to attend the Comic-Con panel. Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Lauren Cohan portray Negan and Maggie in the movie Dead City. They set out to save Maggie’s son via a zombie-infested New York City.
Daryl Dixon finds Daryl in France with no memory of how he got there and has Norman Reedus resuming his role. In all 11 seasons of The Walking Dead, he starred Reedus. In Season 6, Morgan became a cast member.
Cohan debuted on the program in Season 2, left the program in Season 9, and then made a late-season 10 comeback. From Season 1 to Episode 5 of Season 9, Lincoln played Rick Grimes. For the series finale, he came back. Gurira debuted in Season 3 and stayed until Season 10 Episode 13. She was back for the conclusion as well.
