Anorexia nervosa is a type of eating disorder that is characterized by food restriction, low weight, anxiety about gaining weight, body image disruption, and an overwhelming desire to be small.
Ramsey admitted to going to treatment sessions in order to figure out what was causing her eating disorder. Ramsey has not posted any updates on the issue since then, and it appears she has since recovered. She routinely posts images on Instagram, and based on these, we can conclude that Ramsey is healthy.

Bella Ramsey just came out as a non-binary person and stated that she doesn’t mind using pronouns to refer to herself. Ramsey told The New York Times that she is fine if people call her “she,” but she gets delighted when they call her “he.”
