Rockstar Games GTA 6 Release Date: While Rockstar Games hasn’t officially told us when GTA 6 will come out, there’s been a big stir in the gaming world.
Someone shared a voice recording on X (formerly Twitter), claiming it was Take-Two Interactive’s CEO, Strauss Zelnick, talking about the game’s release in October 2024.
The person who shared it, GTA 6 SPAM, said it’s real, but not everyone believes them. Some folks think the voice might be made by a computer.
Take-Two Interactive even took down the video because of copyright concerns. Now, gamers are split on whether it’s true or not.

Rockstar Games GTA 6 Release Date
According to a new report, Rockstar Games will announce GTA 6 on October 23, and it will come out on October 24.
On September 2, 2023, the profile posted the leaked GTA 6 clip and said that the voice was that of Take-Two Interactive’s CEO. Even though the original clip is no longer online, you can read a short summary of it below:
“The plans for the next Grand Theft Auto game are set, and we expect Rockstar Games to…launch a new title in Fiscal 2025…October 24 to be precise, actually.”

It’s not clear if the voice meant October 24, 2024, or just the month of October 2024. But the community also paid attention to the next part, which said when GTA 6 would be announced. You can read a short quote here:
“An announcement is expected to be coming from Rockstar’s side very soon this coming October 23 we expect a high percentage of that $8 billion in net bookings to come from the next Grand Theft Auto. So hopefully, everything goes as planned, and the strategy for VI goes the way we expect it to.”

Before it was taken down on September 3, 2023, the clip went viral on the site. Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc., which is the parent company of Rockstar Games, also sent an email to the user to let it know about the change.
Many people in the community said that the clip was not real and called out the user for spreading false information.
GTA 6 Platforms
GTA 6 will probably come out on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. It might also come to PC, but we don’t know if it will be available right when the game is released.
In the past, Rockstar released games like GTA 5 and Red Dead 2 on PC about a year after they came out on consoles. It’s not likely to be on Switch, PS4, or Xbox One, but we don’t have official platform information yet.
