The Walking Dead series isn’t stopping anytime soon. While the original show is over, there are many spin-offs and more on the way. One of the new ones is called ‘The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon,’ centered on the character Daryl Dixon, played by Norman Reedus.
Norman Reedus is excited about it and says it will be very different from what we’ve seen before. He described it as having a unique story, characters, tone, light, and sound. He believes it’s going to be amazing.

Daryl Dixon Spin-off Release Date
In recent news, it was reported on August 31 that filming for Season 2 of ‘The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon’ can resume after an agreement with the actors’ union.
This is a positive step, although it’s important to note that the agreement only covers a few AMC series, including Daryl Dixon, and doesn’t apply to all studios and unions.
However, it could be a sign of better conditions for actors in the future. In July, it was also announced that ‘The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon’ will have a second season.
Daryl Dixon’s new adventures in France will start on Sunday, September 10 on AMC. But if you have AMC+, you can watch it even earlier on September 7, and then catch new episodes every Thursday.

The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon Teaser
When ‘The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon’ was first teased in June during the premiere of ‘The Walking Dead: Dead City,’ AMC showed a quick video.
It hints at how Daryl gets to France, possibly on a raft. Maybe there’s a shipwreck involved, or maybe, in my imagination, he just drifts from North America to Europe on a boat.

The Walking Dead: The Story of Daryl Dixon
Emily from Netflix isn’t the only American who seems out of place in Paris. In a strange change of events, Daryl Dixon ends up in France. The last time we saw him, he was riding off on his motorcycle to find Rick and Michonne.
Since there’s an ocean between where he was last seen and where he ends up, “how” he gets there is going to be important and maybe even funny, but we don’t know that yet. Here is the official logline for AMC:
“In The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon, Daryl washes ashore in France and struggles to piece together how he got there and why. The series tracks his journey across a broken but resilient France as he hopes to find a way back home. As he makes the journey, though, the connections he forms along the way complicate his ultimate plan.”
In a statement, Walking Dead boss Scott Gimple said:
“Daryl Dixon in France, a loner who cannot move through this new dangerous world alone, facing vicious enemies and never-seen-before threats of the undead.” Could it be zombies with baguettes? When Deadline announced new cast members, they said, “Set after the series conclusion of TWD, the Reedus-led offshoot finds the zombie apocalypse fan favorite transported across the Atlantic to France and a whole new level of a world gone mad.” A monster coming after you with a baguette is the craziest thing you can imagine.
The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon Cast
In this new show, ‘The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon,’ you won’t see many familiar faces from the original series because it takes place in a whole new part of the world, France. So, don’t expect to see a lot of actors you know from the U.S.
However, Norman Reedus, who plays Daryl, mentioned at a Comic Con event that there will be ‘a lot of familiar faces.’ There’s even a rumor that Melissa McBride, who played Carol in the original show, might be one of them.
But she had to drop out because the show was filmed in France, and it was too complicated for her to join. This hasn’t been confirmed by AMC yet, so we’ll have to wait and see.
In February, they added five new cast members to the show. Their names are Anne Charrier, Eriq Ebanouey, Laika Blanc Francard, Romain Levi, and Louis Puech Scigliuzzi. We don’t know much about their characters yet.
