Recap of  The Oval Season 4

The “The Oval” season finale is here. After last week’s thrilling episode, I was excited for ‘The Last Strike’, the finale. Due to the importance of the episode, Richard tried to revive Nancy after she hung herself. He lost Barry—I don’t think Richard can lose his wife. Richard started CPR on his wife while on the phone with 911, but why would a 911 operator state mouth-to-mouth is not needed? This scene is another Tyler Perry misstep.

Sharon said police Kareem admitted to killing Barry. The news shocked Dale. Dale was right about Kareem being set up, but she was emotional. Eli, your acting is bad as US Vice President.

Simone refused to let what she overheard from her husband go; she knew Victoria was the other lady he was talking to. Eli isn’t sleeping in Simone’s bed tonight, so things are tight.

Victoria contacted Donald for an update, but he may be dead. Hunter went out against Victoria’s desires. To make sure Hunter was up to no good, she threatened Alonzo as Richard was furious on his way to the hospital. After the police found Barry’s possessions on a body, he was halted. The news that Barry is dead hit Richard like a tornado.

As the cartel prepared to wage battle, Allan called Alonzo about the drugs he stole from the drugstore. Alonzo faced another dilemma with Hunter demanding his attendance, which would cause havoc. Sam and Max had to safeguard Jason as Kyle sent a hit team to kill him.

Sam was reluctant to answer Max’s queries but eventually disclosed his position. Max was glad to get revenge on Kyle, and Sam agreed. Just as Hunter proved he couldn’t be higher than a kite listening to the worst music and wanted Alonzo to wear a wig as a disguise, I’m excited.

Sharon and Dale commiserated in the police station, but Hunter called Sharon immediately before Richard arrived with terrible news and revealed details he shouldn’t have known. Hunter overdosed on fentanyl-laced cocaine, yet no one was there to save him. Allan’s approach may have worked. Kyle and his buddy were ready to strike, but Kyle wanted proof.

Kyle attacked while Jason and David used gas masks to avoid gunshots, and the cabin was firebombed. As David seemingly fell off that bike that slammed through the cabin, gunfire erupted. What an episode—Allan was caught for cocaine trafficking. Sam and Max arrived late at the cabin but saw motorcycle tracks.

Sam received bad news that the audience didn’t know. When this happens, I loathe it. Victoria was upset to learn that Simone woke her from her beauty slumber at the White House. The catfight is here, and I’ve been waiting all season.

Simone immediately confronted the truth, but she misinterpreted it. Simone was furious and insulted before threatening. After considerable discussion, Victoria confessed to sleeping with Eli, which incited Simone to slap and punch Victoria. As the two ladies fell over the railing, the First Lady was beaten.
