Before and after watching a video on YouTube, creators are required to videotape themselves, submit the video, and include the song Rät by Penelope Scott.
How Did Squidward Die?
On the video streaming service, customers are instructed to watch the videos titled “Squidward’s Suicide Lost Episode” or “Red Mist.” These are fan-made videos that reveal Squidward’s daily struggles and how he underwent great emotional pain before shooting himself. They include show snippets with additional editing and an ominous soundtrack.
The video is a component of the creepypasta online urban legend craze. Based on Wikipedia,
“Creepypastas are horror-related legends that have been shared around the Internet. Creepypasta has since become a catch-all term for any horror content posted onto the Internet. These Internet entries are often brief, user-generated, paranormal stories intended to scare readers.”
The intern at Nickelodeon who told the story in the video claimed to have seen the episode “Squidward’s Suicide.” The octopus committed suicide at the end of the scene he observed.
The purpose of the film was to shock, traumatize, and deeply impact those who were participating in the TikTok movement. The second segment of the film, which is supposed to depict viewers’ reactions to the first, is replete with terrified and perplexed expressions.

According to legend, “Squidward’s Suicide” was intended to be the season four premiere of SpongeBob SquarePants. But the episode purportedly depicted Squidward, the pessimistic octopus, shooting himself in the head with a shotgun instead of making others laugh and chuckle. Yikes!
When an anonymous user described his internship experience at Nickelodeon Studios in 2005, the tale initially appeared on 7chan’s /x/ (paranoid) board. The author claimed to have seen the missing episode while working as an intern, and he detailed the production team’s startled reaction as they watched the grisly and eerie video that wasn’t supposed to be on the show.
According to the tale, when the production team was reviewing the episode, everything appeared to be going according to plan—that is until the animators and editors discovered some bizarre and horrific pictures that were not intended for the program. Everyone’s flesh crawled at the sight of these bloody visuals and creepy sound effects.
