Divorce speculations surround Prince Harry and Meghan Markle when the erstwhile Duke of Sussex was photographed partying alone at the Formula One event in Austin, Texas. In reality, this isn’t the first time Prince Harry has attended an event by himself: the Suits actress was noticeably absent from King Charles’ coronation on May 6th and Harry’s WellChild Awards address on September 7th.

A Relationship Expert Sees Tension Between Harry and Meghan
The founder of the dating service So Syncd, Louella Alderson, explained why the Sussexes are making so many single public appearances. “Given the recent reports of tension between Harry and Meghan during their trip to the Caribbean,” the expert went on to say, “some may view this as a sign of further strain in their relationship.”
Over the weekend of October 14th, the couple left their children at home to take a covert trip to Canouan, a small Caribbean island. Alderson speculates that they may have made the solo vacation without their children to “take care of themselves as a couple.”
Harry and Meghan’s Divorce Rumors May Just Be Rumors
There are, however, always two sides to every story. Alderson further stated that Meghan’s absence at the Formula One race was not due to a strained relationship. “With Prince Harry being with the Mercedes team, it could’ve been a work-related trip for him,” explained the relationship expert. “In this case, Meghan may have stayed back to give him space to focus and do his job without any additional distractions,” she said.
Prince Harry is also renowned for being a vehicle collector who enjoys watching races. Meghan may not enjoy watching race cars and chose to stay at home with their children, Archie and Lili, after spending time away from them in the Caribbean.
Kinsey Schofield, a royal analyst, also speculated that the ex-royals may be attempting to distance themselves professionally. “There were clear signs of a professional separation when WME announced that they were only signing Meghan Markle,” Schofield said in a statement. “Then the Heart of Invictus trailer was released, and we discovered that Prince Harry was the executive producer—without Meghan.”
And, according to Alderson, this isn’t necessarily a terrible thing. “Harry and Meghan will be aware that their actions and presence together can attract a lot of attention, so it’s possible that they make conscious decisions to give each other space and privacy when it comes to work commitments,” she said.

Fans Are Divided About Harry and Meghan’s Possible Divorce
Divorce rumors do not appear to be fading down, and fans are divided as to whether the claims are true. According to one Reddit user, just because there is some stress in a relationship does not mean divorce is imminent: “Every marital relationship has strain at some point but it doesn’t point to marital dissatisfaction or divorce,” the person said. “It just means we are all human,” they continued.
Another user had the opposite opinion. “She will divorce him within the next 3-5 years,” they said, before going on to say, “I certainly wouldn’t call this a good marriage.”
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have not commented on the divorce rumors, so it appears that only time will tell!
