Salina police have confirmed that the investigation into the death of a Kansas Wesleyan instructor is not linked to any criminal activity, and as such, the case has now been closed.
Dr. Eileen St. John was found deceased in her office on the university campus early Thursday morning, a loss that has left the university community in mourning.
The cause of death was identified as a gunshot wound, adding a layer of shock and sadness to the tragic event.
In light of this heartbreaking news, Kansas Wesleyan University took immediate action to honor Dr. St. John’s memory and provide support to students and faculty affected by the loss.
