Three cars and a motorcycle were involved in a fatal crash in Lee County on Friday night, just before 9:30 p.m. The Florida Highway Patrol says a 40-year-old man from Fort Myers riding a motorcycle died in the three-car and motorcycle crash.
On Ben Hill Griffin Parkway going north, a sedan was in the left lane, trying to turn left. At the same time, a motorcycle was going south on Ben Hill Griffin Parkway near Gulf Center Drive. It was in the outside lane.
A sports car was waiting to turn north onto Ben Hill Griffin Parkway. It was stopped in the inside lane of Gulf Center Drive. A man from Venice who was 20 years old and driving a different sedan was also arrested. He was in the inside lane of Gulf Center Drive, waiting to turn north onto Ben Hill Griffin Parkway.

The first sedan turned left in front of the motorcycle, which caused the bike to crash into the front of the first sedan. After the first crash, the bike hit the front of the sports car, and debris from the first crash hit the front of the second sedan.
The 40-year-old motorcyclist was separated from his bike and found dead at the accident scene. Investigators are still looking into what happened.
