A Texas man is suspected of breaking into a woman’s home in Washington state on Friday early, stalking her, killing her and her husband, and then turning the pistol on himself.
“This is the absolute worst outcome for a stalking case,” said Redmond Police Chief Darrell Lowe. “This is every victim, every detective, every police chief’s worst nightmare.”
This occurred at 1:45 in the morning at a residence between 89th and 169th Street in Redmond, which is located close to the Seattle metropolitan region.
According to Chief Lowe, shots were fired and his police were dispatched to the residence. When they arrived, a neighbour and the mother of one of the victims approached them and told them whose house the gunfire had come from.
Chief Lowe reported that the woman’s husband was standing in the entryway as officers approached the front door. They attempted to speak with him, but he slumped and stopped responding, according to Lowe.

He was removed from the doorway by the police, who then saw that he had been shot in the chest. He received treatment from paramedics, but eventually passed away from his wounds, according to Lowe.
The woman and her alleged stalker were found shot to death in the master bedroom after police began investigating the residence because they thought there were more victims inside. According to Lowe, the claimed stalker shot himself in the head and then died.
According to Lowe, his agency has been looking into a stalking case involving the woman and the accused stalker since last year, so they are familiar with both of them.
According to Lowe, the woman first called the police in December 2022 as a result of the man’s behaviour against her. Midway through January, she made a second contact to the police as his behaviour began to deteriorate. According to Lowe, the woman reported receiving more than 100 communications in a single day and said that her stalker visited her house and left gifts for her.
The male had a protection order against the woman, but according to Lowe, police were unable to serve him because they were unaware of his whereabouts. It was challenging to locate him, according to Lowe.
According to reports, the couple connected through the podcast app Clubhouse. The name of the woman and her husband are unknown. Police only disclosed that the alleged stalker was a long-haul truck driver from Texas when asked about him.
