Lenny Kravitz will host and perform at the 2023 iHeartRadio Music Awards, following his appearance at the 2023 Oscars. On Monday, March 27, Fox will broadcast the event live from Hollywood’s Dolby Theatre, where the Oscars were also presented.
Kravitz performed “Calling All Angels,” a song from his 2004 album Baptism, during the In Memoriam segment at the Oscars on Sunday night. In a statement, Kravitz stated, “I’m pleased to host and perform at the 2023 iHeartRadio Music Awards to celebrate the finest in music.
Music lovers around the nation won’t want to miss the program, which will as usual include some fantastic surprises and spectacular performances. Moreover, P! nk, Kelly Clarkson, Keith Urban, Pat Benatar & Neil Giraldo, Muni Long, Cody Johnson, Coldplay, and the recipient of the 2023 Icon Award, Neil Giraldo, will all perform. Latto also joins the already-announced performance roster (via a live performance from Brazil).
Although she won’t sing, Taylor Swift will receive the 2023 iHeartRadio Innovator Award. Last year’s iHearts host, LL Cool J, will make a special appearance. iHeartMedia has announced its nominations for producer of the year and songwriter of the year in addition to the previously announced categories.

The-Dream, Justin Tranter, Omer Fedi, Ashley Gorley, Amy Allen, and Justin Tranter are up for songwriter of the year. The-Dream and Allen were also contenders for the Grammys’ first-ever non-classical songwriter of the year award.
For the producer of the year, Tyler Johnson, Kid Harpoon, Louis Bell, Jack Antonoff, and Blake Slatkin are up for consideration. On February 5 at the Grammy Awards, Antonoff won producer of the year, non-classical for the second consecutive year.
The iHeartRadio Music Awards, now in their tenth year, will honor the performers and songs that received the most plays on iHeartRadio stations and the iHeartRadio app in 2022.
Best lyrics, best music video, best fan army, social star award, favorite tour photographer, TikTok bop of the year, favorite documentary, favorite tour style, favorite residency, and favorite use of a sample will all be determined by fan voting this year.
