Kyle Chrisley, the son of reality star Todd Chrisley, was arrested in Tennessee on suspicion of aggravated assault, the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office confirmed to CBS News on Tuesday. Just two months have passed since his father and stepmother began serving lengthy jail sentences for bank fraud and tax evasion, respectively, when he gets arrested.

Smyrna police detained Chrisley, a regular on the reality show “Chrisley Knows Best;” he was then taken into custody and lodged at Rutherford County Adult Detention Center; then, after posting a $3,000 bond, he was released, said the sheriff’s office. Located in the greater Nashville area is the town of Smyrna.
There was a delay in releasing information about the incident. According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Atlanta, Todd Chrisley was sentenced to 12 years in prison, while Julie Chrisley was sentenced to 7 years.
On an episode of his dad’s podcast, “Chrisley Confessions,” released in January 2019, Kyle Chrisley discussed his suicide attempt.

Chrisley elaborated on the endeavor in an Instagram post last December, writing:
“For years I struggled with self worth. I had no sense of belonging, never felt good enough.”
“Today I am happier than I have ever been in my entire life,” Chrisley went on. “I know my worth. I do belong. I am wanted. I am needed. I am loved. And so are you.”
