Nike has shown off the “Gone Fishing” version of its upcoming Dunk Low. The shoes were first seen last December, but new photos give us a closer look at the fish hook-inspired, scale-textured Swooshes, the remixed tongue branding with fish icons, and the light gray ripstop and shaggy leather overlays that make up the uppers.
Also, the shoes come in a normal orange box, but they are wrapped in special paper with Nike graphics that are inspired by the ocean. Since 1985, people have been able to buy the Nike Dunk Low.
Over the last 38 years, the shape has been influenced by college sports, cereal brands, and many other things. Its most recent collection nods to Oregon’s fishing history to make a clean but ornate set.

The upper of the new style is made of nylon and suede, and it has also been seen in a dark color scheme. The swooshes on the sides have a finish that looks like scales and a point that looks like a fishing hook. Most of the upper half is grey, but the rich blue color comes in through the hairy strips under the “NIKE” branding on the back.
The tongue and footbed also look like the bodies of water in Beaverton, Oregon, where fishing has been done for a long time. On the tongue label, instead of the usual Nike logo, the words “Nike Beaverton 1972” are written.

With its yellow outsole, the sole unit goes for an “aged” look under the foot. The Nike Dunk comes in a shoebox with paper that has water drawings on it.
