Yellowstone, a hit western show written by Taylor Sheridan and starring Kevin Costner as John Dutton, debuted on TV in 2018 and is now in its fifth season. With each new episode, the show’s popularity has grown.
Sheridan made a deal with Paramount in February 2021 to make new Yellowstone shows for the company. These shows included the prequels 1883 and 1923. But the most popular show is ending, and some people think that 6666 could take its place.

6666 Movie Coming Soon to Paramount Network and Paramount+
The movie 6666 is set to come out on Paramount Network and Paramount+ in 2023. If 6666 is the follow-up to Yellowstone, it’s likely to come out in December, but that hasn’t been confirmed yet.
6666 will be available on both streaming and cable, unlike 1883 and 1923, which are only available on streaming.

Season 1 of 1923, which is a sequel to 1883, came out on Paramount+ at the end of 2022.

Who Will Join the Cast of 6666 Yellowstone Spinoff?
The cast of the 6666 Yellowstone spinoff hasn’t been announced, but we can expect Jefferson White (Instagram) to play Jimmy after what happened in Yellowstone Season 4.
After getting hurt in a rodeo, the character was sent to the Four Sixes ranch in West Texas. The 6666 ranch is known as the place where “cowboying was invented.”
Jimmy’s girlfriend from the Four Sixes, Emily (Kathryn Kelly), may also be in the show as Walker. White and Kelly have both been revealed to be regulars on the main Yellowstone show.
Matthew McConaughey is said to be in talks to become the new leader of the Yellowstone business. This is a big question mark. Season 5 of True Detective is the last one, so the star may end up being the lead star of 6666. For now, this is just a guess.

Yellowstone 6666 Plot Summary
According to the summary, the series “takes place when Comanches still ruled West Texas, and no ranch in America is more steeped in the history of the West than the 6666.”
“Still operating as it did two centuries before, and encompassing an entire county, the 6666 is where the rule of law and the laws of nature merge in a place where the most dangerous thing one does is the next thing,” Deadline said.
“The 6666 is synonymous with the merciless endeavor to raise the finest horses and livestock in the world, and ultimately where world-class cowboys are born and made.”
It’s not clear how the story will relate to what happened to the Duttons in Yellowstone. Even though the 6666 ranch has a lot of history, it is also important to Sheridan because he bought it earlier this year.
“Being a Texan today and what it means to live in Texas – there’s a responsibility that comes with it, in that you really do represent the entire state,” he told Entertainment Weekly.
“Everybody in Texas always represents the state. And so, there’s a sense of class and confidence that I think every Texan seems to embody. And along with that, a respect for others, regardless of whether they agree with you or not. You respect their ability to disagree or agree.”
How to Watch the 6666 Yellowstone Spinoff?
Unlike 1883 and 1923, which are both on Paramount+, only the Paramount Network will be able to show 6666.
