The Houston rapper sadly p*ssed away. On Sunday, June 18, 2023, Big Pokey p*ssed away at the age of 45 after p*ssing out after a Juneteenth performance at Pour 09 Bar in Beaumont, Texas.

He had been performing during the show when he collapsed unexpectedly, holding a microphone in his hand. After that, the rapper was taken to St. Elizabeth Hospital, where he p*ssed away.
On Sunday, June 18, fellow rapper Bun B became the first to report Pokey’s passing in an Instagram post.
He stated in a statement;
“I wasn’t ready for this. One of the most naturally talented artists in the city. Low key, humble mountain of a man who moved with honor and respect. He was easy to love and hard to hate.
