For those who are unaware, the 17-year-old New York rapper’s debut track Ready 4 War was released in 2020. Johnson was 15 at the time of his release and gained universal acclaim.

Unfortunately, Edot Baby’s untimely death is the second this week, following the untimely loss of Migos member Takeoff. On Tuesday, November 1, the 28-year-old rapper was killed down at a private event at Houston’s 810 Billiards & Bowling.
Takeoff was playing dice with his uncle and another Migos member, Quavo (Quavious Marshall) when a dispute erupted. It was followed by a shooting in which Takeoff, nicknamed Kirshnik Khari Ball, was killed while the other Migos member escaped unscathed.
The rapper was rushed to the hospital but later died. A video of Quavo kneeling by what looked to be Takeoff’s still body circulated online as well. In the leaked footage, Quavious Marshall can be seen pleading for rescue.
