By rescheduling the release of Civil War, starring Alex Garland, to the weekend of April 12, A24 is capitalizing on a date that is now available for wide distribution.

A24 will have access to Imax auditoriums on the new date of the action thriller, which is about an almost shattered America perched on the brink of disaster; the previous release date was April 26.
