Death Parade Season 2 Release Date Status, Cast, Trailer & Plot Details

Death Parade, also known as Desu Paredo, was inspired by Yuzuru Tachikawa’s short film Death Billiards. The anime series ran for 12 episodes from January to March 2015 and was announced for a death parade season2. Truly engaging, with each individual portraying life’s most difficult challenges and lessons. Even though the guests only appear for one or two episodes, they manage to hold our attention.

In just one episode, you form a bond with them. Every human emotion…love, wrath, loneliness, retribution, sadness…hell of an emotional ride…that too after a person’s death…has been prominently presented in this breathtaking ride. An anime with a lot of thought put into it. It defies the expectation that psychological thrillers feature murderous or mentally strong characters. The protagonist, Decim, is an arbitrator who decides on the fate of the souls of the dead.

His monotone behaviour and words closely match the older adult’s expectations. The anime makes you appreciate life and encourages you to have a “full” existence. It has an excellent emotional balance that does not leave you depressed at the conclusion.

It’s been over six years since Death Parade first exposed us to the afterlife’s games. The mental institution launched the anime series in 2015, and it was a surprising hit with anime fans. Because Death Parade was so popular, Madhouse had to cope with many fan demands to make a second season. Despite its reputation for producing one-season anime programmes, the studio listened to viewers and committed to a second season.

Death Parade Season 2 Release date

There has been no current news on Death Parade Season 2 release dates, yet fans have been vocal about their want to own the second season of this fascinating anime series. After Season 1, Madhouse has announced that Season 2 of Death Parade will be released. However, because the anime is short on content for season 2, the writers would have had to scratch their heads to develop a fresh storyline that would tie in with the first season’s finale.

Death Parade Season 2 Cast

If the producers decide to revive the series, the cast will almost certainly be the same as the previous game. As a result, we’ve heard that the following artists will perform at Death Parade Season 2:

  • Decim
  • Chiyuki
  • Nona
  • Ginti
  • Clavis
  • Quin
  • Castra
  • Oculus

Death Parade Season 2 Plot

Following the plot, the series focuses on Quindesim, a mystery bar, and his bartender, who also works as a soul mediator. Decim, who plays a crucial role in judging the energies given to him at various times. Although the premise of Death Parade is separate and different from other anime, in this series, when someone passes, he is sent.

We may think anything right when it comes to imagination. The strange pub is maintained by a bartender who serves as a sole mediator. All deceased souls play a game with each other, and the winner enters the cycle of reincarnation while the losers enter the abyss.

Those sent to Decim’s tavern are forced to participate in the Death Games with him before he can judge their souls. Decim, on the other hand, is a seasoned professional who believes all of the souls who go through Quindesim.

The last season ended with Chiyuki’s reincarnation and Decim’s job as an arbitrator continuing in terms of a potential plot.

Diplomat Season 2 Release Date: Who Will Return in Its Cast?

According to theories, a new season could focus on Decim’s past, the changes in his function as an arbiter due to his acquired human feelings, or Chiyuki’s return to the afterlife following her death in her new existence. If the series gets a second season, it will be intriguing to see what route it goes.

As a result, it appears that Season 2 has been put on hold, and it may never be released. Alternatively, the show could be in the works and will most likely be released shortly.
