Did Jessica Leave SNSD, or Was She Forced to Leave?
Regarding this tragedy, there are many floating rumors. Dispatch said that Jessica and SM Entertainment were both involved. Jessica had previously informed the other SNSD members that she intended to carry on with her company and that, should she decide to leave the group, she may get married. Jessica had aspirations of continuing her education in New York. Even though we weren’t aware of her situation then, she implied that she couldn’t continue doing this.
SM Entertainment or the company has never prevented Girls Generation members from pursuing their aspirations; this was not agreed upon in the contract. Jessica’s ambitions to launch her own company were thus never thwarted by the label.
She even traveled to New York, China, and Hong Kong on a few occasions with her boyfriend, Tyler Kwon, whom she also intends to marry. Jessica had the opportunity to complete everything and arrive one day before the Girls Generation fan meetup scheduled for China.
SM Entertainment might have considered her attention to the Girls Generation schedule during this occurrence. Although Jessica also decided she would no longer support Girls Generation’s upcoming new album in 2015, it may have brought up this topic.

“Hello, this is Jessica.
I’m here to let you know that after negotiating with SM Entertainment, we have ended our contract and have officially decided to go our separate ways. I cherish the times I have had with SM Entertainment, and I hope there will be good fortune ahead for SM Entertainment.
And also, to all my dearest fans, I’m always thankful for your constant support and love. I will do my best to show you what you are anticipating from me, so I’ll be grateful if you could watch over my new start.”
Jessica’s Business, BLANC & ECLARE
After that, Jessica could continue her work and give her full attention to BLANC & ECLARE. The luxury fashion companies represented by Blanc & Eclare make accessories, denim, eyewear, clothes, and garments.
BLANC, “clean and crisp,” was introduced in August 2014. She founded this clothing line with her boyfriend, who assisted with funding and brand promotion.
