Phil Baroni, who used to fight in the UFC, has been arrested in Mexico and charged with killing his girlfriend in a hotel room. Tribuna De La Bahia, a Mexican newspaper, was the first to report the news.
The report says that Baroni, who was 46 years old, flagged down police near the hotel and told them that his girlfriend was unconscious and needed help.
When the police got to the hotel room, they found a naked woman on a bed covered with a sheet, with no signs of life. When they looked at the woman, they saw cuts and bruises on her face and body.
Phil Baroni has been arrested for murder. Mexico has a femicide problem, and this is a key case. Baroni will claim he meant to abuse his girlfriend, not kill her. He’ll look for a manslaughter plea. He doesn’t deserve manslaughter. He committed murder.

When asked by the police, Baroni said that his girlfriend told him around 3 p.m., while they were smoking pot and drinking beer, that she had sex with another man. Baroni told her to take a shower, but she said no.
Baroni then said that he had thrown her into the shower, where she had fallen and hit her head. Baroni said that he helped the 46-year-old woman get up and help her to bed.

She asked him for the bed sheet because she was cold, and he gave it to her. She also asked for a cigarette and a beer, which Baroni gave her.
After trying to wake her up, Baroni went back to bed and saw that she was sleeping and had no signs of life. He was taken into custody by the State Tourist Police and is now being held by the Valle de Banderas Municipal Court.
Phil Baroni was supportive of War Machine during his trial and was supposedly cut from Bellator because of it.
Now reports say Phil’s been arrested for murdering his girlfriend.

Baroni (16-19) last fought for the Rebel FC Middleweight Championship in China in 2019. Sai Wang was able to beat him. From 2001 to 2005, “The New York Badass” fought in the UFC.
