Following an accident that occurred on Wednesday in San Bernardino involving a Metrolink train, two passengers are currently in serious condition. According to the San Bernardino Police Department, the crash took place on Rancho Avenue while the victims were driving their pickup truck across the train tracks. They were traveling westbound.
According to the authorities, there were more than thirty people on board the train when it crashed. After the collision, the vehicle was left in a twisted state, and debris was scattered across the track, as seen in images taken at the scene. The truck driver was allegedly going eastbound towards the railroads at an “unsafe speed,” according to the officers.

According to the authorities, the motorist
“failed to stop for the guard crossing arm and smashed into the Metrolink train which was heading in an eastbound direction.”
According to the authorities, both the driver of the truck and the passenger were taken to a nearby hospital, where they are both currently listed as being in critical condition. After the collision, the officials stated that only one passenger on the Metrolink train sustained minor injuries.
