Sharon Stone’s brother Patrick passed away, the actor said on Monday. He was 57. The “Basic Instinct” actor said her brother had passed away from a heart attack in a heartbreaking Instagram video.
He leaves behind his wife Tasha Stone and their two kids. River Stone, who passed away in August 2021 after being discovered in his crib with “total organ failure,” was likewise fathered by Patrick. A week later, River would have celebrated his first birthday.
“Like any family, we thank you for your love and support in this time of immeasurable grief, and we appreciate all of your condolences,” Stone said, asking supporters to “continue to be kind” as she reflected on the “tremendous amount of loss” her family had navigated in recent years.
“My heart feels like it’s been ripped out of my chest. Patrick went to be with our sweet River around 3:30 this morning,” she wrote, according to People. “I don’t know what else to say, he was my world.”
“I knew I was going to marry him the moment I laid eyes on him. I immediately connected with him, and for the next 20 years, we were utterly passionate about each other while simultaneously being incredibly in love with one another. Without my best pal, I feel adrift.
