What Was the Cause of Kelly Monteith’s Death?
After Monteith suffered two strokes in February 2021, leaving him with aphasia, his ex-wife, Caroline Alexander, started a GoFundMe to help pay for his speech therapy and recovery.
He was in the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center hospital for two months. He was married to Caroline, and they had two children. Monteith died on January 2, 2023, when he was 80 years old.

The Anglophile Channel, a production company he worked for in Los Angeles, said in a post on social media that he had died. Lisa Vanderpump, who played Monteith’s co-star on the show Kelly Monteith, led tributes on social media. On social media, many other comedians, such as Bennett Arron, Al Murray, and John Wing Jr., paid tribute to Monteith.

When he was founded in the early 1970s, Monteith did stand-up comedy on The Tonight Show on NBC and Des O’Connor Tonight on the BBC.

The Kelly Monteith Show was a short-lived variety show that Monteith had on CBS in 1976. After he did well as a guest on British talk shows, the BBC offered him his own show. Kelly Monteith started airing in 1979 and ran for six seasons.
It was known for showing Monteith in his dressing room before and after a scene, which broke the fourth wall. During the run of the show, Kelly Monteith won the Silver Rose for the BBC at the Montreux Television Festival in Switzerland.

In the United States, the BBC show was shown again on the Arts and Entertainment Network, which was just starting out. In 1983, Monteith performed at the Royal Variety Show, which was followed by a tour of the whole country.
From 1987 to 1988, Monteith was the host of the short-lived American first-run syndication show The Hit Squad. In 2004, he wrote, directed, and acted in A Lousy 10 Grand, a low-budget comedy.
In 2019, the six-part TV show The Real Geezers of Beverly Hills, Adjacent, which he wrote and starred in, came out on Amazon Prime Video.
