Another AFC rivalry is forming, this time between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Cincinnati Bengals. Over the past few seasons, the Bengals have not only emerged as a formidable opponent, but they have also thoroughly destroyed the Chiefs.
They defeated the Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium in last year’s AFC Championship Game and won both regular season matchups between the two teams. Bengals players have started calling the Chiefs’ stadium “Burrowhead Stadium” in honor of their team’s domination. Some players with the Kansas City Chiefs have noticed it.

Star defensive tackle Chris Jones told reporters he’d see them all at Burrowhead Stadium as today’s press conference wrapped up. Just last year, Jones recorded 15.5 sacks. The Bengals’ offensive line is missing several key players, so he’ll be facing an uphill battle.
Before this game, the Chiefs had plenty of Bengals-related bulletin board material to use as motivation. It appears that the Bengals have provided them with even more incentive to improve this season than they already had after last year’s loss.
