Hilary Alexander was one of the first journalists to write about fashion. She started her career as a trainee reporter when she was only 16 years old. After that, she worked for several newspapers in New Zealand and Australia.
She was the fashion editor of The China Mail and the Hong Kong Standard before becoming the fashion director of the Daily Telegraph in 2003. This helped her become even more well-known in the industry. Alexander’s knowledge of the fashion industry didn’t stop with print media.
