Brooklynn White, Alex Murdaugh’s longtime lover, has been there for Buster through thick and thin. She has been with the lone surviving son of famed American lawyer Alex Murdaugh for quite some time.
Several sources have indicated that White is a breed of a golden retriever. Buster Murdaugh’s fiancee bought a condo on Hilton Head Island for $180,000 in July of 2021. Buster and his longtime girlfriend reportedly have a tranquil existence on Hilton Head Island in South Carolina. They share a little apartment.
A lot of their neighbors have remarked on what a nice couple they are, and how they always seem to greet one another with a friendly smile. Miller, the dog, was the couple’s other pet. Buster Murdaugh hasn’t tied the knot yet, therefore he’s still a bachelor. In 2018, White earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Alabama.
Buster Murdaugh Girlfriend Stood by His Side Throughout Murdaugh’s Trial
Throughout the trial, Brooklynn White stood by the side of her boyfriend and continues to show her support. Buster has experienced grief unlike anyone else; both his mother and brother were murdered. What’s more, in 2015, he lost a close friend, Stephen Smith, in a fatal car accident.
Alex Murdaugh’s only surviving son, Buster, testified Tuesday that the deaths of his son and wife left his father devastated. During his father’s double-murder trial in Walterboro, South Carolina, he told jurors, “He was destroyed, heartbroken, I walked in the door, saw him, gave him a hug, he was just broken down.”
Alex Murdaugh, 54, is charged with shooting dead his wife Maggie, and his son Paul, 22, in June of 2021. Both deaths are said to have been committed with firearms. Alex’s son claimed that on June 7, 2021, their father called him after finding the bodies of Alex Jr. and his wife near the dog kennels at the family’s hunting estate.
At the Collection County Courthouse, he testified that his father had asked if he was sitting down, to which Buster replied, “Yeah.” Alex then made an odd sound, after which his father informed him that his mother and younger brother had been shot.
Buster and his girlfriend, Brooklyn White, hurried to the Moselle family estate in Islandton, South Carolina, which spans over 1,700 acres. They showed up first thing in the morning. While his father, Alex Murdaugh, smiled at him lovingly from the defense table, he sat in a black blazer and white button-down shirt and testified with little expression.
Buster claimed the next day that he and his father showered at Moselle, which would account for the wet towel and puddle of water found in the bathroom after the murders. Through his questioning, defense attorney Jim Griffin was able to establish that the Griffins were exceptionally close.
Buster testified again, adding that the flurry of phone calls on the day of the murders was not unusual. He said, “I spoke to my mom every day, multiple times a day, and the like for my dad and for my brother, too, and I know they’re all talking to each other, too.”
Brooklyn White’s boyfriend admitted that he was aware that White Sr. battled drug addiction and had gone through detox in 2018, yet he still spoke highly of White Sr. as a spouse and parent.
