One of the most anticipated upcoming additions to Warframe is the Duviri Paradox. Players have been patiently waiting for its release despite the setbacks. New features and a departure from the formulaic gameplay of previous expansions are promised for this release. There is no other information available at this time on this upcoming Warframe add-on.
When Will Warframe’s The Duviri Paradox Be Released?
Even though there isn’t any official information, the Digital Extremes website says that The Duviri Paradox will be out in April 2023. The expansion’s original start date of 2022 was pushed back due to unforeseen complications. Given that Warframe is currently celebrating its tenth anniversary, further delays are not expected, and it seems unlikely that the makers will postpone the expansion for much longer.
A “rewind-on-death” concept is one of the new additions to the expansion, which is modeled after rogue-like games. In addition, users can mount on a skeletal horse, though it’s not clear if this horse is available to everyone right away or if it requires players to finish a certain goal beforehand.
The Latest Developments in The Duviri Paradox
According to the developer streams, the upcoming Warframe expansion, The Duviri Paradox, will add some fun new features. The new expansion’s inclusion of a campaign means players can go through its tasks in any of three difficulty settings. These are the modes:
- The Lone Story: A solo narrative mode.
- The Circuit: An endless game mode with Warframes only.
- The Duviri Experience: An open-world adventure.
Unexpectedly, the fourth open-world area of the game, which is said to be located in the mind of the game’s main adversary, Dominus Thrax, will be made available via this new update. The trailer doesn’t reveal the name of the area, but it does suggest that players may assume the identity of a person called “Drifter” for the duration of the campaign. It’s still up in the air whether or not they’ll be able to use their exosuits throughout the entire campaign.
The Duviri Paradox’s updated release window was previously described as “2023” in an announcement by Digital Extremes, but the developer has since narrowed it down (though still not providing an exact release date) to indicate it will come this April. And to mark the occasion, a brand-new cinematic trailer has been released to keep Tenno occupied in the meanwhile.

The Undercroft, a new region being added by Digital Extremes, is widely speculated to be a dungeon or series of dungeons where players may put their exosuits to the test. The Undercroft’s true nature can’t be known until the extension is made public.
