One particular frame from the second teaser for the upcoming Barbie movie has fans completely enamored. The movie, which was directed by Greta Gerwig (Lady Bird, Little Women), stars Margot Robbie as the well-known doll and Ryan Gosling as her lover Ken.
Viewers are first shown a close-up of Robbie’s feet at the start of the “bonkers” video as she removes a pair of fluffy pink heels. Yet, as a homage to how the toy doll appears, Robbie’s Barbie maintains her tiptoe position rather than standing normally.
On Twitter, viewers praised the astute shot as soon as they saw it. “I need to know everything about this shot,” Chrissy Teigen wrote. It’s essentially simply a documentary on this shot: how many shots, whether she held onto anything, was she tethered, is the landing mark sticky, are those her feet, who did the pedicure.”

One fan said, “Why was this the most brilliant shot I’ve ever seen?” The movie’s first teaser, which was released last year, did not provide any story specifics, but the second one seems to have done so slightly more. At the conclusion of the video, Ken and Barbie are seen leaving Barbieland and stepping into the real world.
The actors that will play “humans” in the movie include America Ferrera, Ariana Greenblatt, Helen Mirren, Will Ferrell, Connor Swindells, and Jamie Demetriou, according to promotional posters that were unveiled on Tuesday (4 April). Simu Liu, Ncuti Gatwa, Michael Cera, Issa Rae, Rhea Perlman, and Kate McKinnon are other members of the supporting cast; some of them seem to be portraying different versions of Barbie and Ken.
