Parents Reese Witherspoon and ex-husband Ryan Phillippe attended their son’s concert to cheer on his singing career.
The “Legally Blonde” star, who recently split from Jim Toth, attended Deacon’s record release party on Friday and was reunited with her first spouse.
The “Big Sky” star posted many photos from the premiere on Instagram and encouraged followers to listen to the new album in his caption.
“Awesome night w family & friends celebrating the release of ‘A New Earth’ by @deaconphillippe,” the proud dad wrote.
“Stream, download, and listen to the album.”

One picture in the collection showed the patriarch and progeny holding hands. Phillippe, 48, went for a classic look in a white T-shirt and a red, black, and white knit sweater, while his mini-me wore a black shirt, a white checkered blazer, and a string of colorful beads.

Deacon Phillippe, 19, and his mother and older sister Ava Phillippe, 23, smile for the camera. The “Big Little Lies” actor, now unmarried, looked great in a red plaid jacket and trousers. Her daughter, who looked much like her, donned a green crop top with black leather pants and a belt.
Witherspoon, who has a 10-year-old son named Tennessee with ex-husband Jim Toth, posted a series of tweets in his defense.
“Let’s goooo @deaconphillippe,” she captioned a screenshot of Spotify’s “New Pop Picks,” which featured his song, “Virus,” on her Instagram Story.
The founder of Hello Sunshine, who had been married to Jim for 12 years, filed for divorce on April 1. This celebration was one of her first public appearances following their split.
“We have some personal news to share. It is with great care and consideration that we have decided to divorce,” Witherspoon posted on Instagram on March 24.
“We have enjoyed so many wonderful years together and are moving forward with deep love, kindness, and mutual respect for everything we have created together,” she continued.
In a now-deleted Instagram post, the “Walk the Line” Oscar winner said Tennessee was their “biggest priority.”
“These matters are never easy and are extremely personal,” she concluded. “We truly appreciate everyone’s respect for our family’s privacy now.”
Ryan and Witherspoon, who both had breakout roles in the classic ’90s film “Cruel Intentions,” were married from 1999 to 2008 and continue to share parental responsibilities for their two children.
