The car swerved to the left and hit the median, but she was uninjured. According to a statement provided by Cleveland Police to CNN, a woman driving a 2017 Mazda 3, she struck the passenger side of the vehicle and Cordero, who was standing on the shoulder.

Former Browns DE Chris Smith Has Passed Away
According to the Twitter feed for his high school football team, former Cleveland Browns defensive end, Chris Smith has died.
Smith played basketball for Arkansas after graduating from North Carolina’s West Rowan High School. The Jacksonville Jaguars chose him in the 2015 NFL Draft’s fifth round.
Smith spent three years with the Jaguars before moving on to the Bengals in 2017, then two years with the Browns. In 2020, Smith had eight appearances for the Las Vegas Raiders. Smith played for the Houston Texans in four games in 2021.
In 2019, shortly after giving birth to their daughter, Smith’s fiancee and the mother of his child were killed in a car accident. At this moment, we do not know what exactly caused Smith’s death.
