Jordan 38 Release Date
Sneakerheads have been waiting impatiently for information from Jordan Brand regarding its new models for the 2023–24 NBA season, and July has finally arrived. The eagerly awaited Air Jordan 38 is one of two remarkable revelations the Jumpman crew has already made. The company has now revealed a breakdown of the “Fundamental” colorway’s specifications as well as two other colorways after showcasing it a little over a week ago.
The Air Jordan 38 draws inspiration from the Air Jordan 8 and, like the Air Jordan 37, takes a look back 30 years. First, the redesigned X-Plate supports quick movements by keeping the foot consistently over the footbed and mimicking the “X” form of the AJ8 straps. The sole unit has a radial herringbone pattern in addition to this new component, which works with a full-length Zoom Strobel unit and full-length Cushlon 3.0 foam for responsive cushioning.

The three medial diamonds and the 41 crosshatches represent his average of 41 points per game and the Bulls’ three consecutive championships, respectively. Since the sneaker uses at least 20% recycled material by weight, it is the most sustainably produced Air Jordan.
On August 18, the “Fundamental” colorway of the Air Jordan 38 will go on sale for $200 USD. After that, on September 7 a “FIBA” look will debut, and on September 25 a women’s-only “Center Star” will.
