The release date for the second season of The Santa Clauses, starring Tim Allen and set in the universe of the Santa Clause films, has been announced by Disney.
The Calvin family returns to the North Pole in the second season, as Scott Calvin (Tim Allen) maintains his job as Santa Claus after his retirement plans were thwarted in season one when he failed to locate a qualified replacement. After Scott and his family rescue Christmas, Scott begins preparing his son Cal (Austin Kane) to take over the “family business” as Santa Claus.

As the second season of the sequel series makes its double-episode debut on November 8, 2023. The Santa Clauses will spread holiday cheer on Disney+ this November. It won’t be long before the next installment of the Tim Allen film franchise, so this is a bonus for fans of the first season of the spinoff to The Santa Clause and its sequels.

Eric Stonestreet’s portrayal as the evil “Mad Santa” in the second season of The Santa Clauses had its first peek last week thanks to brand-new images shared by PEOPLE.
In 1994, the Tim Allen-starring Santa Clause series debuted. In the holiday movie for the whole family, Allen played Scott Calvin, a businessman whose life is suddenly turned upside down when he unintentionally kills Santa Claus and unwittingly becomes the new Father Christmas.
The sequels to the first movie, The Santa Clause 2 and The Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause, were released in 2002 and 2006, respectively.

Eric Stonestreet is dressed as Scott Calvin’s chilly antagonist, Magnus Antas (dubbed the “Mad Santa” in the new photographs.
The photographs depict the villain dressed in a filthy imitation of Santa’s attire, complete with a belt bearing a huge M in the center. The character is also accompanied in the film by his helper Olga (played by Marta Kessler). In a subsequent shot, the “Mad Santa” is still wearing the strange Santa outfit while standing at the North Pole.
The outlet also provides a brief summary of what viewers of the Disney+ series can anticipate from the upcoming season, “In the second season, the Calvin family is back in the North Pole as Scott Calvin continues his role as Santa Claus after retirement plans were thwarted when failing to find a worthy successor in season one.
